So I finally decided to write a post about my dog.
These are both pictures of George, they were just taken at different times. If you haven’t noticed, it’s really hard to get a good picture if him where you see both of his eyes. 😛
I’ll start by saying what you already know.
George is a black Mini-poodle mix. That means he’s mostly Poodle but his dad has a little bit of some other breed in him.
He loves everyone. He literally greets everyone like a long lost friend.
He is well trained when he wants to be, usually that’s at the times that are not as necessary. 😛
He knows the commands sit, lie down, stay, dance, go to bed, roll over, shake, other paw, jump, off, up, sneeze, get your bone, get your chicken, and get it. It means whatever I’m pointing at. Obviously he only understands when I have a treat in my hand. 🙂
Anyway, the reason I decided to write this post is because George has separation anxiety. He’s had it, but lately it’s been getting worse. I used to give him dog calming pills, but he began to get withdrawals from it because it had St. Johns Wort in it, and that’s a herb that is very addictive. I took him off of it when I realized that he would start shivering uncontrollably when he didn’t have it. He doesn’t get the reaction anymore, but now I don’t know what to do for his anxiety.
Sorry I’m rambling about my/his problems. If you have any advice, please comment down below. I would really appreciate it. Thanks.
That’s all for now,
